Ways to get involved: The following are just a few of the many options
Board of Directors: elected positions governing the operation of the organization. Fund-raising: Join the team! This committee plans the parties, stuffs the envelopes, creates the major donor plans, and everything in between. There's something for everyone who wants to help sustain the GLC! Outreach and Public Relations: This brand new committee tells the story of grassroots organizing training through creating brochures and flyers, social media, and lots of creativity. Program Support: These active office folks work on everything from watering the plants to recruiting participants. There's something different to do every day! Faculty and Facilitators: Lead workshops on a topic of interest to you or help with facilitation at forums and other events Coach: Each fall the GLC needs 12-15 experienced grassroots activists and organizers to learn alongside and provide coaching to developing grassroots leaders For credit internships are available. We are also a member of the Dane County Timebank, so Timebank Hours can be earned volunteering for us.
