Evaluations Internship


Responsibilities:

Building a Grassroots Leadership Training Program:

The program coordination intern will work with the Director and evaluation committee:

  • Collecting, entering and analyzing data from pre and post program assessments
  • Designing and implementing tools to collect qualitative data from students and alumni
  • Preparing and presenting results to the Grassroots Leadership College Board of Directors and other interested parties


Experience and Skills Needed:

  • Professional Experience Requirements: Experience with data collection and analysis.

  • Demonstrated Skills/Abilities Requirements: Experience with Microsoft Excel and word processing software, and an understanding of how to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data

  • Communication and Other Skills Requirements: Proven skill in communicating verbally and in writing with diverse individuals, strong people skills, and competency with personal computers are all required. Necessary computer skills include proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet software, and data collection software. A sense of humor and ability to work in a sometimes busy office a must are both essential.
